Bob Wood discovered photography and Europe simultaneously,
as he was given an SLR to capture the glory of the continent on
tour with his parents. He was 14 years old. His fascination
with photography grew while in high school. As the high school
yearbook candid photographer, he was given a twin-lens reflex
camera, unlimited film and coaching by a professionals who
exchanged this service for the rights to sell yearbook formal
portraits.
In Buffalo, New York, Wood learned darkroom techniques at the
prototype of a proposed chain of darkrooms.
Bob jumped into digital photography as the unlimited storage
and immediate results finally gave him the ability to fully
turn his creative ability into reality.
